3. Use the Preheat Function
Most 510 batteries have one, usually triggered by two rapid clicks. It runs a low-wattage cycle designed for exactly this. If your battery has it, it is the safest heat you can apply.
4. Clear the Mouthpiece
If air still will not pass, a sewing pin, paperclip or dab tool inserted a few millimeters into the mouthpiece will break up a blockage at the top. Go gently and stay near the opening — pushing deep risks damaging the coil or wick.
5. Lower the Voltage
Counterintuitive but important: high voltage bakes residue onto the coil and worsens clogging over time. Drop to the lowest setting and take slow, steady pulls. You get better flavor and less build-up.
